since i put my new sunroof seal in it's been sitting a little high. the sunroof arms don't quite line up with where they're supposed to go. foolishly i didn't realise this before breaking the bloody thing.now one of the arms doesn't come out fully.

whilst i've had the car the sunroof hasn't stopped in the locked position automatically. i've allways had to guess where this is. if i replace the gears will it sort this out too?

which bits do i need and where's a good place to get 'em for an 88 car.

thanks,

rick.

I replaced the gears and bought them off ebay as a pair

can get from ebay or any specialist for about £10 a pair, replacement is a bit fiddly but try here for info http://www.clarks-garage.com , there is a micro switch on the motor mechanism in the boot to stop the motor when the roof lifts

CONFIRM :x The main problem was setting the micro switches up,I did use the Clarkes web page and got there in the end.
