Post subject:  S2/Turbo Bumper attachment

Hi, has anyone have a photo showing how the front bumper is located to the front fixings as shown in the photos as nothing seems to line up. Age and two years since removal has dimmed the memory. Thanks

The plates go below the bumper. You should be able to feel which one is left/right when you align them with the wings.

Thank you for the reply. I understood these went below the bumper to add support, just put them there for reference, but wanted to know if these bolt to any of the angle brackets extending from the car or are just bolted to the wings as none of the holes seem to line up to well. Thanks

If the PU has been unsecured for two years then it may well have relaxed. If the brackets are undamaged then the PU will need gently easing back into place.

Bracket is for the wing. The bumper bolts to the wing. Plate thing you got often missing I think it's there to stop the bumper holes splitting.

I'm only about 20 minutes from you if you need a look at one.

Thank you for the offer matey, but nipped into southampton today to pick up some of those little elusive parts from my friend Mark who kindley showed me how they fitted on some dissassembled panels he had. You are more than welcome call round and I will show you what I have been up to. I often see a red E reg and an grey A reg 944 on my way to Lee.
