Its approaching MOT and Insurance renewal time again.

Big thanks to Dave Mac for getting my exhaust fitted and rear brake lines replaced. Had the Dansk sitting in my garage for over a year so was about time I got it on :D

I have fixed my handbrake and have just ordered a new pair of clear repeaters (got one side orande and one side clear at teh moment)

MOT next week, nothing else springs to mind that needs doing but its always a bit of a lottery.

Just got to sort insurance out which has krept upto £470

My insurance is due too. And Tipec membership. Which I have to have for the insurance. :D Unlimited mileage parked outside £348. Up from 298 last year. If your parked on the street then that would be the difference. They did pay for a new windscreen last year so not too bad.
Good luck with the MOT :)

Mines Garaged and only used as a toy. My insurance company does not give discount for garaging it though. I may have to change.

Mine is garaged and use as a toy. Heritage insurance only took £180 off me for a 5K policy.

Fantastic always a good feeling. MOTs are mega scary especially on older cars....
I still get reminded that ours cost £2K for it's MOT in 07 :( Generally when Mrs TR7V8 is wanting to score points...

Wow that's cheap!
You must be 70 with 50 years ncb and live in a fortress surrounded by barbed wire!
Mines due in October so I think I'll be giving Brooklands a ring.
Got a number for them?

Daz.

I wish it did, it was £1400 for the rebuild of the inner/outer sills & floor & around £600 for 2 new wishbones, new exhaust & some other bits.
