How's this for weird?

As far as I know the backlight for my dash clock has never lit up. Until this weekend that is , when it suddenly decides it will light up with the rest of the dash :?

It must be trying to show its appreciation for being let off the leash for a long old run :idea:

A while back, I dismantled the dash clock in my Lux to cannibalize it for parts to make the one in my Turbo work perfectly. I found that its casing was shattered and the bulb only held in by a tiny bit of electrical tape. It had always lit up okay though …
