hi,
i have just finished putting the turbo back in my car which is all good started and runs great so i am pleased,bbut i have the above bracket left over and cant remember where it goes.
any ideas?

Looks to me like a bracket that goes under the inlet manifold.

If you look at the E944-88 PET catalogue, it's page 70 of 417.

It's part no 8;

^I agree with Andy on the above; it attaches at the front of the inlet at the top and somewhere on the block at the bottom. Due to the length of the manifold I'm afraid to say it's reasonably important.

Just seen this, that is indeed the under the front off manifold helps susport it. Good work on the turbo
