My god these sunroofs are complex...

I've replaced the cogs in mine, but the gear cable was right back into the boot, so I've had to re feed it - does anyone have a guide to re calibrate it all correctly? I'm not sure exactly how the lift arms should sit so that they don't just keep extending 'til they fall out!

Any help, as always, appreciated
Steve

There's a cam gear on the motor which the cable goes though, u need to set this so it hits the right limit switches, there's a few guilds but most make sense on each your hands on

Cable move the cam gear, with the cog out the cam gear can come out off sink.

Do you know how the sunroof should operate, lock, lift, release. With the cam gear out off synk the switch won't shut it self off when raising the arms. Should be a single press not hold.

Count the theeth with the cog retract, cam gear needs to be in the same position for the sunroof release

No I cant seem to find a guide to set up.
with the lifters fully down are they out of the roof?
I cant figure out how they come out to let the roof release.
the switch seems to operate the opposite way round in key position 1 to position 2!

With key turned one click the switch will let the arms move away from the sunroof in to the roof.

With the key turned all way or engine on, sunroof will lift and close.

Pretty sure the retracted ( sunroof unlocked ) is 1 thoot visual from the gear cover
