Im planning on selling my current seats to help fund a re trim on another set of seats I have. They wont have the electric controls or the seat belt receivers but other than that they are generally in good condition. Any advice would be appreciated as they are headed for e bay.

Personally I would leave the electrics in if you want to get the most for them, not sure how much the motors are worth to keep over the lost your make selling without.

Are they vinyl backs? Any rips? Swap the backs over so there fresh outside bolsters on each seat. Quick job but will add intersted.

If they where black they be 200/400 if not ripped

El Tel has said exactly that I was going to say! Don't ever hobble good seats by taking parts off them, because they'll sell for far more as a complete working set.

Id also advise selling the rear seats with them too, making a complete solution.

I paid £300 for a good set like yours recently - I have had work done to them, but only to get them bang on.

Ah I must clarify when I say electrics the motors will all be there but the switches won't, I bought a set of the sports seats that had these parts missing so I would be using them on the new ones.

They do have vinyl backs, I need to keep the rear seats as i'm not changing colours, I just fancy the sports seats now i'm 6st lighter

I had presumed that you meant the switches. My advice stands.

If I cold find a pair of switches for sale going cheap I wouldn't take them out.
