My wife kindly is pying for the 'ding' in my front wing to be sorted....just needs a touch of paintless dent removal that I'd hoped to sort out this week...as the car is officially '30' on the 30th January. That's clearly not going to happen now.

The house is currently covered in scaffolding to repair the roof after last months storm.....and as its a town house the garage is integral with the house....and guess where the bl**dy scaffolders have put the main supporting pole...yep right in front of the garage!

So unless the scaffolding comes down on Wednesday, I'm going to miss the chance to drive on the cars 30th anniversary...bugger.

I feel your pain, I have had building work going on at my house for the last two and a half years, and for the last year it seems that roofers doing shoddy jobs has put the brakes on everything, including a warm dry home for a couple of my cars to sleep!

This is not what I was hoping for, I had planned an afternoon driving (the car was originally delivered at 14.00) ....I'm considering taking an angle grinder to the offending pole (Scaffolding, not builder)

Can the pole not be moved along enough to get the car out?

No Tim, they have half the roof tiles stacked on the top deck (3 storeys high) so I suspect disturbing it might be a little risky
