I'll be buying a Turbo MAF kit at some point and Vitesse and Rogue seem the 2 choices at the moment. Has anyone bought the Rogue kit in Europe yet, it's much cheaper than the Vitesse and seems to be the favourite on Rennlist but there has been the occasional post about idle issues ?

There were a couple of Tipec guys at the Bedford trackday last year that had Rogue stuff fitted. Hopefully they will spot your post and comment themselves - seemed really happy to me.

I thought he was still developing his kit, I haven't read about a MAF/MAP setup tested on anything modified ?

I was there for an hour or so but I wasn't paying much attention to MAF setups on the day, what cars had the Rogue kit ?

I'm running Tom ecu, have been for last 6 months. Will pm you my mobile if you like

But I'm sure Tom be more then happy to answer all you questions

One off the biggest plus for me was the ecu blue tooth connection and app. I can monitor all the ecu variables via Samsung mobile.

Which iv put in a dash vent holder on the right vent. This saved the need for muiltple gauges and after market pods.

Afr
Injection advance
Manifold pressure ( boost pressure )
Coolent temp
Intake temp

And many others.

TBH the attraction of the 2 yank kits is they're proven on modified engines and have baseline maps that will be pretty close out of the box as I plan to run the MAF/MAP initially on a 2.5 and later a 3.0.

Maf can compensate for changes better I believe, but you would really want to fine tune any way. Tom can tune your car via wifi be a be slower you would need to data log send file, receive new tune e.c.t
Best to inquire at least.

Or you can tune your self, not sure how the octane levels change aboard to here.

Rennlist user describe Toms ecu " like rouge tune but on steroids "

There's quite a few people going that way now so shouldn't be long.

I'd like it to be competitive on price and features with the M-tune MAF and DME.
