My cab roof is blue but faded and i wish to brighten it up a bit. has anyone tried a normal fabric dye or any recommendations.

I used one from Renovo on my Beamer and results were good - but only after having got caught out by the rain and had to scrub it all off laboriously (it dried horribly patchy) and re-applying. Good stuff but triple check the forecast if outdoors lol.

+1 on renovo i've tried a few and it is by far the best.

has to be the 3 stage though, clean, colour, protect.

the cleaner is brilliant especially when massaged into a stained roof with green moss etc, takes a fair bit off washing to get off though.

a tip i was given is to use the renovo marine canvas protect instead of the car one as it is tougher.

Mate I've actually got a nearly full 1/2 litre can if ya want it to try out on something b4 comitting. If ya want it PM me an addy and I'll send it up. (I don't have a blue hood anymore)

just watch you do the clean before putting the dye product on, if not it will be pretty patchy!

whatever you do don't use the autoglym ones I've had very poor results.
