Xmas is coming, and family members are asking for ideas!

I like a good book, and at the moment I only have one 944 related book - Peter Morgans 944/968 Ultimate Buyers' Guide.

Can anyone recommend anything? I'd like something informative of the marque, design concept, detailed model descriptions, etc - or is the Ultimate Buyers' Guide as good as I'll get?

The best PM book is out of print, unfortunately, and it sells for silly money.

Is that the 'Original Porsche 924/944/968' book by Peter Morgan?

I did come across that whilst searching earlier, but as you say, looks to be out of print.

The Porsche Driving Book, written by Martin Beck-Burridge and John Lyon, published by Porsche in 1988 and 1990. Quite rare, but a nice book to own.

Amazon let me order the peter Morgan book earlier in the year for £21 & at one stage even gave me a delivery date, but still no arrival and I'm not expecting one, but no harm leaving the order open. Seen them go recently for about £30 on eBay in nice condition.

Jon, is that 'The Porsche 924/944 Book'? If so, is it the same as the 924/944/968 one apart from not having any of the 968 info?

It was the 'Original Porsche 924/944/968' one that was suggested as being the one to get.

It's this one, Ebay item number: 291024057076

It's the 924/944 version, it has not arrived but I believe the '968 version is an update of this book. Not looked at them side by side so cannot confirm.

Regards

Jon

I have got the "Original Porsche 924/944/968" by Peter Morgan and it is a really good read.
My work colleagues bought me it on my retirement a couple of years back and I would recommend it.
They bought it from "Benford Books Falmouth" through Amazon.
Hope this helps.
Bob
