The only thing I'm tempted to buy out of the UK is the dash cover for my square dash as I haven't seen any for sale in the UK.
I do agree that pelican parts is a good site though

Hi Folks - The OPC is a mile from where I live in Cape Town and they are a great bunch of people but I have found that for certain 944 items for my S2 I have had to have bought from the USA. I would like to mention Pelican Parts and 944Online where they both have a huge indent of items, which are not readily available in the UK. As an example, my odometer spindle (see avatar side pic) was only available from the States... But I digress - do you, my Forum friends, buy outside of the UK? Anyway - just a thought Dave |

I think most of us buy UK as there's a good network of independents for when OPC is too pricey, plus ebay too for anything second hand. I would think if people are buying from overseas it will be for specific and modified parts, off people like Lindsey Racing. |

Some good US suppliers that do things that aren't available elsewhere. Such as Zims etc. |

I've bought a few things from the US but only when they're not available anymore in the UK or Germany. Fuel pressure regulator for my 83 944 was the last one and a odometer gear before that. |

Better to have bought crap off Lindsey Racing than have bought Lindsey Racing crap off Promax for twice the price... |
