That is a question..you could always follow the old saying - if it ain't broke don't fix it. But, if you are considering a power increase in the near future, perhaps now would be a good time, I guess it depends on your time schedule here. However, when the power increase work starts you will want to remove the head for cleaning the chambers and valves, perhaps polishing inlets, etc...so it will have to come off then.
Personally, I would wait until I had everything ready for the mods, then attack the head, etc. You can always slip the cam belt of the sprocket and reuse it if it has only done a few miles.
Just my thoughts, I am sure others may have a similar or differing view..
