Post subject:  rear arb bushes and drop links

In the process of trying to cure the rattle from the car i'm looking at replacing the rear Drop links and ARB mounting bushes.

Hell these are expensive OEM from Porsche and specialists. I'm now looking at Powerflex bushes plus adjustable drop links on ebay which are Rosejointed. At under £70 per pair they seem good value.

Has anyone any used these drop links and are they ok?

thanks

Jon

I had them on my S they go rusty quick. Don't no what there like to fit. Was going to put them
On my turbo with 18mm rear bar but lost them
Some how. So I went for stock with fresh rubber.

Is the rear bar set up silghtly differnt on Pre 85.5 cars? To oval dash ones.

I had full poly bushes and gaz gold on the S and it was a bit creaky. All went on at the same time so its hard to say what causes the noise. Fresh rubber will be better then worn

Iv got a full lightly used poly bush set from 25.5 front bar and bar, and rear torsion bar carriers. Rear ploys I sold with the rear bar

Hi Terry,

Thanks for this.

The e-bay offer have rubber boots so these packed with grease should make them last a bit longer. How much do you want for the front polys and bar?

thanks
