Nice looking wheels but to me they don't look like Cup 1s I think those have more rounded spokes and no ledge where the spoke meets the rim. like I said though nice wheels and I could be wrong. Have a look inside the wheel rim for the Porsche code number that might help identify them as either genuine Porsche or Speedline etc. |

They are genuine 16in cup 1s. Quite different in all ways from the 17in variety. What would I expect to pay? £225-£250. I previously bought a set for £175 which was cheap. There was a set on eBay a couple of months ago for £150 and they still took two weeks to sell. Decent wheel though. |

I would say that they were Cup wheels. Cup1 wheels onwards are all 17". 993 Winter Cups are 16" too, but theyre slightly different. The are Cup wheels. Cup1 wheels are 17" in diameter and they have five big fat square spokes. Cup2 wheels are also 17" dia and they have more slender rounded spokes. |

968 Cups is what they look like ![]() They may not look as cool as 17" wheels, but the 16" wheels are said to be nicer to drive on, and more forgiving in not showing up worn suspension ![]() |

Ive only ever seen magnesium Cup1s, 17" in dia, similar to those in my picture above, but dearer and less durable! ![]() |

In the past i have paid about £100 for 16 inch 968 cup 1's as a set without tyres, so the £250 a set price seems about right. I have seen people use these on 924's with disks all round conversions, 924 turbos, 924S models... which they modernise the look. But these days I find that a lot of people seem to be after original wheels for the 924 and 944, as market moves from a cheap modified Porsche scene, to a classic Porsche scene. I wish I had not weighed in so many cookie cutters and teledials over the years as scrap metal, as these seem to be getting sought after my some, where as my Cup1's I have for a 968 Club Sport only got low offers last year, so I kept them stored for now. Someone with a golf might love these 968 16 inch cup's you have, put them on ebay and see what happens! |

The number of ATS cast wheels that I regret wasting is vast. I also regret selling 8" & 9" Fuchs for comically low prices too. |

They are 968 cup wheels, had the same on my 944S, swapped from D90s to them to be a little different, also found cleaning the inner rim very easy due to the large gap between the spokes |
