Hi all

Euro car parts have a 25 % off code for QX 10w 40 at the moment and with this a free oil filter for each 4 litres of oil, All for the small outlay of 26 pounds I would get 8 litres of oil and 2 oil filters.

My question is this I change my oil regularly (every 3000 miles) is this oil okay for my needs?

I drive a late s2 944.

It will be fine it is SL spec & A3, B3. How many miles are you doing a year, I did 6K changes on my 2.5 when it was my daily driver. Only changing to annual ones when it became a second car doing 1,500-3,000miles a year. Although more frequent changes won't hurt.

Thanks Jim

I am daily driving plus a decent pleasure drive every three weeks (due to shift patterns) 3-4000 miles per year.

ECP QX is Valvoline rebranded under ECP's own brand name as far as I understand it. Os its by no means cheap crap but I couldn't tell you exactly how good it is. Worth finding out the zinc content though, lots of zinc is good for these old motors
