Post subject:  Braided brake lines

It was too big a job for me as I don't have a garage and it was winter, and I'd already spent my time replacing discs and caliper seals all round and getting the dreaded plates removed from the calipers and cleaned.

The 944 looks good, what size of wheels/tyres have you got? They fill the arches!

You should definatley keep these. I've got these on mine & the improvement is huge. Was considering the four pot upgrade but for road use it's not necassary as stock '44 brakes are very good when sorted.
The original flexi's crack in time & you will have to replace them for the MOT. These will last forever & are cheaper than the original part too.
No harder to fit than new Porsche ones.

I agree with that, i have the full set on mine , massive difference

My wheels are 18" with 225/40ZR 18 N3 tyres front & 265/35ZR 18 N3 Rears

On closer inspection the part number label says: PORSCHE944 S1 82 ON

I've checked this with the supplier and it seems they must have sent the wrong hoses (although they seemed to fit ok at the front) as there are other part numbers for the 968 listed at http://www.goodridge.co.uk/buy-goodridg ... php?mk=315

I'm sorry but it looks like these hoses are for a 944 not 968.

I've relisted these at http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=230209887076&ssPageName=STRK:MESE:IT&ih=013 as 944 braided hoses although I have had confirmation that they also fit a 968.
