hi people, wandering around VWNW last weekend has convinced me i need some fuchs or at least a seet of splits with a little more dish. I was hoping fusch replicas in 16" would go on but i hear the offset is a problem on cars with ABS ![]() ![]() i split and re-furbed these for my old corrado VR6: ![]() but now i have a mortgage and never endng stuff to buy for the damn house a £1250 set of wheels isn't really an option!! ![]() I've seen a nice set of compomotive CXN 3 piece for £550: ![]() problem is they are 16x 8.5 and 9.5 which i presume is way too wide, it's such a sweet car to drive i don't want to ruin the handleing. what offsets should i be looking for and what widths can use? any suggestions on where to look? thanks, rick. |

You want an offset somewhere between 50 and 65 for a later car with ABS. Fuchs were only available with an offset around 20 and so they will stick out on your car by 30mm because you can't fit anti spacers ![]() 8.5 and 9.5 will fit ( I have 8.5 and 9's on my trackwheels) but you will need tyres sized around 245 and 265 respectively |
