Well the doors a good job. But they didn't fit the rear hatch. So it's straight back in on Monday. Maybe by the weekend it will be back together again. Just hope it fits. It came from a garden shed & might have warped..................... |

Frustration continues. My wiper moter won't fit the new hatch. Well I can live without it. It doesn't do much of a job at the best of times. (Will need a bung for the hole. Sure I've seen one somewhere???) Worse my bridge spoiler seems to be Araldited to the glass of the old hatch. Which is stronger. The spoiler or the glass........ ![]() ![]() Only good news is the cam seal is ok. Just the cam box gasket spraying oil everywhere. Sure they should last more than 20000 miles. Will this car ever be in one piece. You bet it will. It's so close to being sorted now I can smell it. ![]() |

There are two sizes of spindle for the rear wiper, your new hatch obviously has the hole for the 'other' one ![]() Keep smiling (our cars sometimes like to 'test' us ![]() |

Anyone know a good way to remove a bridge spoiler from a knackered tailgate???? Not sure what it's bonded on with but it's good. If I can't get it off without wrecking it then it's a new spoiler on the shoping list & there not cheap. Also need a new cable for the sunroof. & the coller fitting that fastens it to the motor. (like an air fitting.) No one seems to list them. Not even Bert. ![]() |

I think you will find it is held on by four crosshead screws that go into four nuts. I think two of the nuts are bonded into the spoiler, I know the other two you can get a spanner onto. |

Yes. Took them off but the spoiler won't budge. Well & truly glued on. It's not silicon either. ![]() Anyone know where I can get a sunroof cable & coller. No replys yet from the breakers & I need it yesterday. |

Try OPC for the sunroof cable if you need it in a hurry, someone like pelican if you don't would be my advice Hope you get it all sorted soon! Adam |

Thanks guys. OPC can't identify the parts! If need a part No & it's not on PET. Help. Tried Posrshe shop, Only Nine. No ones interested. Anyone have a part no' for the cable & coller?????? If the car was useable I'd drive over but the glass has decided to fall out of the tailgate. So it's all got to come off again. And it's raining. ![]() ![]() Running these cars without a garage is sometimes very arkward. |

Are you trying to get hold of the twist cable that runs from the boot/motor to the roof? The one that moves the gears in the roof? If so I'm pretty sure that's on PET.. How come you need a new one? |
