as the topic states.....whats the compression ratio's of the 2.5 944? i'll do a compression test to see if the rings are worn. |

depends on the engine type but generally 10:1 ish so I'd expect 150PSI or around 10 bar in frog yards. According to a few the rings wear thin & that's why the oil consumtion rises, also the inlet guides wear. |
