Post subject:  I Need To Remove The Turbo

But hopefully not completely. Im looking for tips so I can free it off to give me some movement. A broken stud on on the outlet pipe has led to it being replaced and I have managed to get that off without removing the Turbo but as the new pipe is larger I need at least some movement in the turbo to fit i, any tips?

Shiny goodness

There are two 'hex' head bolts that hold he turbo itself down, when loosening these i found it quite important to follow step 20 from Clarkes Garage! They came out cleanly and apart from a sheared stud for the down pipe (re drilled and tapped in a new one) it was straight forward

Yes thats oil, there is one on top as well. My lower was leaking which was part of the need to remove the turbo. They were a few pounds if that from the OPC as memory serves. Might be worth ordering up a set whilst you are in there?
