Hi All

Well just picked up the 944 from the body shop and she is looking good with fresh paint. I bought some cler stone guard stickers that go on the front inner arch and rear quarter/arch.

Problem is the quality is crap and they stick out like a sore thumb. (must be cheap copies)

Can anyone suggest a reputable place to buy from for sensible money ?

I picked mine up from body shop today too Phil having had the sills sorted (very minor rust in rear outer corner then repaint and stonechip)

I was planning to replace my stickers too - however, it occurred to me that one had already been missing for some time and I didn't have one stone chip in that area so I may just not bother now.

If you do find some good ones though post up a link, I may just change my mind!

I have to say I was amazed at how good guards red looks when new! I love it. Going to layer it up with some Dodo wax this week-end...

Oh yes, guards red when fresh can't be beaten - my last two 944's were GR and I loved it

Here's mind as of today;




There was a bit of rust in the rear corner of the N/S sill and a bit of surface rust at the bottom of the B-post. The sills themselves otherwise outer and inner are rust free. They welded some metal in at the rear corner, also repaired front wing/arch lip where there was a small rust patch - these were the only rust spots they found on the car.

Then stonechipped, re-painted etc so not a major job but they did a cracking job!

Looks very tidy !
