Post subject:  Coolant Sensor Below Inlet Manifold
I ordered a replacement on the basis of changing it whilst I had the manifold off but what turned up looks a bit different to what came out though.

Have I been sent the wrong part or has some clown used one from another car? im hoping one of you guys who is a fountain of knowledge can tell me.

Excuse the poor picture but the blackberry is crap when it comes to photo's

I bought a replacement one of these but new one is too big and has no chance of fitting.

Thread has gone from 10mm on original to about 16mm on replacement. Next on list to sort out

I think the one on the left is a thermo switch that goes on the radiator. So I think it's the wrong part.

Got to be the wrong part, any fluid sensor has to be long enough to actually be in the fluid!
