| Post subject: | 968 Door Mirror Reassembly |
Have a pair of 968 door mirrors to fit on my 944 but they are split and need reassembly. The head and the foot part are united with the retaining/locking pin and spring that allows the head to swivel. Can anyone advise how to reassemble the unit, maybe special tool is needed as the spring seems too stiff to compress by hand. Cheers |

Hi look on dakingrulez.com remove and disassemble cup mirror. GOOD LUCK THE JOB IS A PITA HAD TO DO MINE FOR RESRAY . bRIAN |

I struggled so much with mine I ditched the original set up and used washers cut to a 'D' shape, nut and bolt and the spring. |
