hello, ive got a problem with my 944 s2 and was hoping someone out there could help. i went to work onfriday morning, car took a while to start, but it had been sitting for a few weeks. when i finnished, went to start the car and nothing happend, a friends sugested it could be the plugs, so one trip to halfrauds later, and a new set of plugs were in, but still not starting ![]() checked that the plugs were gettin spark, and there was a strong smell of fuel from the plugs when they were removed (both sets) has anyone got any ideas about what could be causing this? as ive only had the car a year, and its ran fantasicly but this is the first problem i have had, and its snookered me! ![]() |

Hello, Everyones away at Gaydon. Until they get back. http://www.clarks-garage.com/ Have a look at the faq. My. You need to check it out methodically. Have you taken the distributor cap off for a look? Is the rotor arm properly screwed on? Chances are it's somthing simple. ![]() |

Hi, Sounds like a faulty DME relay sometimes you can pull it out and tap it and try again if no joy i would replace this with another one 1st before doing anything else. Good luck. |

fuse box under bonnet on passenger side just under windscreen, check to see if rev counter needle bounces when cranking engine, if not crank sensors |

sounds like a split fuel pipe but could be anything. well you will have it running soon altho the bill would be in the 1000's haha just kidding. providing the brakes and everything els is fine all they will need to change is the oil and filter. so you wont be hit that hard ![]() |
