Hi,

My First post on this forum, so I'll say hello to all.

Had a 944 for a couple of months now, it was sat for the first week or so until I changed the belts, good thing too as I found the balance belt was shredded and im pretty sure the timing belt was about to go. Yes it was driven back to mine from the P/O's house , we took it for a test drive and I think he had done a few miles in it like that too . Ive now changed both belts and a few seals and its running great.

The next thing on my list of things to do was to respray it, the paint was badly sun damaged and as im currently waiting to start a new job I thought now would be the time to do it. As a consiquence ive spent the last week in the garage and my car is in many pieces. The front end has been done and im hoping I should get the first coat on the rear tommorow. That loks like you've put a lot of work in for the week.
Certainly improving the car and good to see TLC won't be wasted.

Going to look great when it's finished!

After a hard day's sanding final coat has just gone on! Ill put some pics up in the morning.

its satisfying when the final coat hits.... i know that feeling all too well mate, cant wait to see the end result

Its turned out really well, im getting the wheels back wednesday from being refurbished. They are being done in a gunmetal grey, hoping it will go well with the red paint.

Right, got my new wheels today, had some new tyres fitted too. All spraying is now done, just some more sanding and polishing to go.

Really pleased with it so far, picking loads of bits up for it at the show this sunday. Should be all back together next week. Cant wait!!
