Hi Guys hope you can help. My Dad is having problems with his S2 where it will cut out. Initially we thought it was to do with the idle control valve, but it appears to only happen when braking. We went for a test drive after checking the vacuum hoses (they appeared to be ok) and whilst braking at 35mph in 3rd gear the engine stalled and the ABS light came on. The abs does weird things and the pump is randomly self testing at different times. The car will idle fine at standstill.

Personally id guess thats electrical. But expect JMG will be along shortly to state some real facts
