hi all

The search is ongoing, and with turbo prices being high with current stock i have been increasingly looking at 968's. have seen a purple 968 sport at buchanan motors for sale that looks interesting. Am looking for a ppi service and have seen RPM in glasgow recommended but can't seem to get through on their phone. Sounds like its disconnected. Are they still in business?

Have spoken to George Morrison who seemed good but dealer not happy with distance, and I have spoken to Motortune also but their service was limited - engine only, no borescope for sills and no body work checks etc.

Lastly, what of the dealer? I have read some less than positive feedback going back to 2008/9, but what of any recent experiences?

Cheers Russ

There are a few members in the region and hopefully they will be along with some recommendations shortly

Stuart @ SP Autobahn.

I have no personal feedback to share with you other than to say I have read positive and negative feedback. I was rather cross however when he bought a white turbo just before me. Advertised for £3000 Ono by previous owner - he is selling it for £12995!

I can imagine that would make you cross! Mind you, I don't see the stock at those prices moving off the forecourts. But their existence seems to be setting the market expectation for all 944 turbos. In my experience so far it seems 7k is now the minimum expectation for anything tidy or low mileage.

Stu @SPAutobahn is the man for a PPI. I use George Morrison for service work, and I know he has PPI'd a friends car, but I think you need to take the car to him, same for Motortune?
