Guys,

There is a 'new' 924 at Bridges breakers in West Sussex (Pease Pottage) just off the M23. This time it's a silver Lux on a W plate more or less intact when I saw it this morning...however it gave up its very 1980's audioline stereo cassette player plus one screen washer jet for my early 944.

it has the PORSCHE embossed door cards however they will only be suitable for rebuild as the bottom edges have succumbed to water damage.

The three other Porsches; one S2, one Lux, one early 924; are still in the top yard and still have some usable spares. the 924 are on a set of turbo twist 4 stud wheels.

Jon

Hi Jon,

That's the car that Vennom and I spotted and mentioned somewhere in another thread. It is remarkably complete. You may have noticed that I started taking the front bumper light fittings apart, before I realised that they don't fit a 944.

Oh, missed your post on this one Alex, I stumbled across this car yesterday whilst wandering around bridges with my son looking for parts for his MR2. He ended up with nothing, but I relieved the 924 of it's period radio cassette and passenger door window switch, now both installed in my 944 :D

The cassette player is so period and works perfectly....it looks so much better than cd player it replaced......and only £5!
