 Post subject: a bit of info please

TIPEC membership: 0
just got my my top engine gasket set and in the info it says change head studs on pre 85 engines, is this so or just a precaution as they look pretty sturdy.

Don't know for certain, but perhaps they are stretch bolts. In which case they will need to be replaced.
