Looking at lowering my <85 944. Thinking 30mm drop front springs on standard shocks and just adjusting the 24mm Eccentric Nut on the rear?
Has anyone else done this and did you get decent results?
Don't want the car to end up nose down!! But have read re-indexing the rear torsion bars is a pig of a job coil overs all round seem a little expensive for a car worth just a couple of grand or so!!!
Any advise would be greatly appreciated. Cheers

Many different options for the front, as I guess you already realise.

For the rear, if you are lucky you will get between half an inch and an inch out of the adjusters, but you might already be on the bottom limit, they were not all assembled the same from the factory.

So for the rear, whatever you do, I think you will be in for a lot of work to re-index the torsion bars.

No pain, no gain. :)

Many thanks. I guess I'll just give the adjustment a go and see what I get!! fingers crossed I get enough to make a difference. Cheers
