It's one year today since I got the '44 :occasion7: Was only planning to keep her for about six months but I'm still having fun after 25,000 miles so I'll stick with her for a wee bit longer.
:D

Had mine for 21.5 months - thats longest I have ever owned a car.

Its not the newest, most expensive, or fastest I have ever owned but for me its the whole package, even when someone drove into it and I could have written it off to buy an S2 I didnt. I love my baby. :love7:

These things just get into your blood. Not fast by modern standards. But so much fun! Nearly had mine 2 years. No plans to get rid yet. Just don't ask the missus what she thinks.

Ye gods 1 year & 25K that's around the mileage mine was doing as a daily driver, actually 38K in 18 months.
I must admit I love mine & it feels great for a hoon around after a stressed week driving the jag

Yeah I must admin if I have one of those days (which is most at the moment) I like a little blast. Sometime the trip to Tesco racks up 4 times the mileage it should :D

I was reminded today once again why I love my 944. Test drove a new bee-em 1 series. For the missus! Anyway it was not all that - horrid electrically assisted steering and could not tell the right wheels were driven at all. Got back into my car afterwards and it was a revelation. Steering feel/feedback was returned to normality and stomping on the brake pedal did not cause a bad case of whiplash like in the BM ;)

I've had mine 7 years this year , i can't believe it, i just can't see me ever getting rid of it.
I've waivered a couple of times, but then take her out for a spin and know why i've got her.

Theres something of a poser about it all as well, i do like people looking at you when you drive about, and to know that you are in something special.
