That's me just about up to date with still loads to do.
Wastegates are almost done and I've just started with the 3" turbo-back exhaust.
Then there's the inlet to finish, massive charge cooler, 2 radiators, oil cooler etc etc... it's all good fun :drunken:

Glad to see at least someone approves of my antics on TIPEC.
The whole project seems to have become an exercise in over-engineering! :D

Blimey! That turbo! Apart from being logistically limited on the location of that turbo, is the front a relatively cool place to put it?

I can't say for certain but it won't be too difficult ducting cool air to it.
The oil cooler I have is a 50 row Setrab unit and I only run synthetic oil so don't anticipate turbo bearing issues. Holsets are known to be tough units anyway.

The twin scroll twin gate exhaust manifold has been a pain in the proverbial from start to finish but it's almost complete now along with the 3" downpipe. I also fitted a couple of EGT probes in each wastegate pipe to monitor each half of the engine.
I think they'll also double up for measuring manifold back pressure :D

This first engine should be able to take a fair amount of boost. Pity the con rod bolts are stock otherwise I'd consider upping the revs.
