I guess the car has sunstroke. I lock the door and it immediately unlocks again. Same on both sides... 1989 car with factory central locking, anyone seen this before? |

I had a Seat Leon that did that. It was eventually traced to the micro switch on one of the locks. Maybe, maybe not the problem with yours. |

I had a mk2 golf that did that too (same handles too) we traced it to a slight air leak in the system and the pressure dropped forcing them open again - not sure if the 944 uses the same actual locking system tho Do they stay down if locked individually? |

Sometimes caused by one of the external door handles having a sticky release lever, alternatively can be caused by the rod or pin (the bit that flashes in the later models) jamming in the door card. |

Sorted, as Jon said it was the pin blocking the actuator. Thanks guys. |
