while converting my 944s2 into a track car i have stripped out every thing i can to save weight, even trimming the wiring harness down after removing things like roof motor, rear wiper, window motors etc but i have done some thing to activate the original imobiliser, tried stripping all alarm parts out but i still have a relay ticking away in the alarm module. ( car turns over but no spark)
Does any one know how to bypass the alarm module?
thanks

Details are on Clarkes or Pelicans website. If you can't find it ping me a PM & I have a copy buried on here somewhere.

Many thanks jim, i have removed the dash and found 2 ignition switch wires had been cut and additional wires added, which now dont go anywhere. i am going to rejoin the wires back to original and see what happens. play stopped because of rain.

if you have 12v+ on terminal 30 of your DME relay socket with ignition off you should at least be able to get it started with a 3xway bypass cable i should have thought.
if you remove the DME relay and link terminals 30 and 87 and 87b together it will feed 12v+ to the ECU , fuel pump, injectors, and ignition circuit (via the ECU)
Are you sure that the chattering relay isn't due to dodgy earthing on your door courtesy light switches ? they are linked into the alarm circuit.
If you need any help troubleshooting the fuel injection and ignition systems and bypassing your immobilier you're welcome to pm me

many thanks peanut, modified the dme and it started first turn, chattering relay gone. the fuel pump seems to be on all the time but a switch will cure that.
