i am after the 2 old connectors that come with the brake pad wear sensors, i want to cut of the worn sensors and join tghe 2 wires together. apparently this will turn of my warning light. thanks |

New ebc pads without the sensors, as the wheels come off very regularly i check then. |

Hi Stu The sensors don't come with the pads and are less than a tenner new. Surely that is your best option? Or do your EBC's not have the groove on them to accept the sensor? If so you can just bridge the 2 connectors where the sensor should plug in, will do the same job and probably less messy. Stuart |

Hi Stuart, yes thats what i want to do, but by using the old connector ( on the wear indicators) and joining the wires i keep the water seals and avoid internal corrosion, if at a later date i wish to use the sensors i can just un-plug my shorting block and fit the new ones. As i have a set of track wheels and a road set i will ( should ) know the condition of the pads stu |
