hi all has anybody tried to diskconet the dme and klr unit? i have taken out the wooden panel in the passenger footwell then the dme mounting frame out,cannot seem to pull the plugs off of the relays is there a knack to gettting these off?cheers all

I've taken them out a couple of time, once for a chip and once to wire up a Apexi boost controller. Once you've taken out the rack/frame there is a spring clip on both the DME and KLR under where the wires come in. You need to push that away from the plug with you finger and then lift just the side of the plug where the wires coming in. It is sort of hinged on a lug on the other side. If you planning on removing them be careful with the tube to the KLR it can get a bit brittle with age. Hope that helps.
