 Post subject: Throttle Body Cleaning

On my last car i stripped it and shot blasted the throttle body.

Any good tips on how to clean it so it matches my nice shiny manifold without stripping it.

Its off the car.

You chose a nice fiddly part to detail! I'd use some truckwash to remove any loose dirt & grease, then maybe some alloy wheel cleaner. And a toothbrush - top tip, don't use your own. Just be careful around the seals and bearings.

I used to clean carbs with petrol and a tooth brush and they always come up nice and clean.
