Never heard of a 944 S2 SE, looks a bit customised to me! |

was a limited edition/run out on the last S2 944's with all the goodies fitted as standard, power quoted in ad is 240bhp, i'm sure the power should be 225bhp, and i think the figure of 15 made is correct |

With only 15 ever made, at least 2 are for sale at the moment! Here's the other one on Piston Heads. This one doesn't have the sill extensions and looks a lot better for it. http://pistonheads.co.uk/sales/469941.htm Steve |

Were all 15 white? That second one does look better without the sill extensions. It would look even better in red!! |

I think white looks fantastic on the 944, but the blue interior? What were they thinking? Could this be why they only sold 15 if they were all this colour combination? ![]() |

No I saw two red ones at the Highclere House show about six years ago. They were the last 15 S2's that Porsche GB had already imported and had not sold after the 968 was already available so they bolted on every optional part they could find at Reading, got Superchips to supply a 'supposedly' 225bhp chip and had an SE badge made. The shocks are not actually M030, but they are a one off Koni coilover that they happened to have at Reading. If they are still original they will be well knackered by now and you can't buy an identical replacement, though any Koni agent will be able to rebuild them |
