Anybody know the largest wheel size i can fit to a 944S2 cabrio

Technically 18 x 10 on the rear, certainly on an s2 Coupe, even they're iffy with some cars & wheel offsets.

You're absolutely right Jim, the old girl handles a lot better on stock size wheels.

Unless you can't live with the dated D90's and are happy to compromise the ride and road holding then by all means change the wheels.

when I got mine it had 9.5x17 on the rear and 8x17 on the front, but they were the wrong offset so i swapped them for the correct offset, and slightly smaller size (in width, same size tyres), but they were the correct offsets and it behaves better, although I think the wrong offsets had more to do with it than the sizes.

Ps if anybody want them they are for sale (the old rims, perfect for the later 944) :D
