I have replaced my refurbed wheels 17" cup 1s for another set of the same for the winter and the rear tyres catch on speed bumps occassionally. My question is how to stop the catching and is it to do with the suspension.I dont really want to get into replacing tyres if I can help it. cheers |

Post the offset and tyre size for both sets of rears.....then we can work out if spacers would cure it... All the best Brett ![]() |

Hi, I'm assuming you mean they're catching on the wing arches, I believe different makes of tyre of the same size can vary in design and stick out more and catch. The cheapest way to fix is either a bit of adjustment of your arches with a hammer or if thats not appealing you can adjust the camber so the tops point in a bit. The bolt that holds the anti-roll bar also adjusts the camber. |

Hi ![]() He didnt mention arches...he did mention suspension....which could mean spacers might work.... We still need the sizes and offsets, either way.... All the best Brett ![]() |

Regards different tyres, the 255 Continentals seem narrower to look at than the Pirrellis that were previously fitted again 255. |
