Do they look like the factory screen only better?

It is a bit of a fiddle. I can fit them to your clock for a tenner including postage! Alasdair |

They are the same screen as the OEM one. You probably need a bulb as they are backlit with the ignition on. This is dimmed via a resistor with the lights on. The screen could also be abit knackered as well. Alasdair |

Hi Alasdair. I would be very much interested in one of these! So, is it just a suitable replacement LCD screen that can be made to fit the existing clock body, with the same buttons being functional etc etc? Let me know what you need from me to proceed? Cheers, James |

They are a direct replacement for the existing screen, Alasdair did one for me today. |

Thanks Alasdair. Received mine a while ago and eventually got round to fitting it. Easy job and it works perfectly. £26.50 is a reasonable price to pay to get rid of one of those annoying faults, and so much better than buying somebody else's second hand one for £50 - £75, which might fail tomorrow. Hi, On Sunday I fitted the LCD screen bought from Alasdair - bit fiddly, but thats no surprise really - fired it up and 'hey presto' we have a working clock again! Cannot recommend this enough! Its strange, but there really is somthing nice about having a working time piece in the car  Bargain at £26.50, compared to the absolute scandals you can find on eBay!Thanks Alasdair! James |
