Fresh from it's new steering wheel, the 944 got a new Alpine ICE system today. I've fitted speakers all round. The rears were easier than I thought once I got over the risk of breaking the panel. Top tip is to buy a set of angled screwdrivers from halfrauds for £2.99, they make it nice and easy.

6x4 speakers (note: I only paid £80.00 for all four inc P&P) - http://www.bullenav.co.uk/Alpine_6x4_60W_p/00119.htm
Alpine IDA X100 Ipod head unit - http://www.audioassault.co.uk/Stereos/i ... 100_Stereo
and the bluetooth unit (£60.00)

I also have on order the Alpine PXA-H100 IMPRINT sound processor which basically adjusts the unit for the best incar audiosetup automatically and has a system called tag and sync which automatically registers a song on the radio I like when I push in the large centre button on the unit. When I get home it tell me what songs I liked and remind me to download them.

This system does not have a CD drive it is pure iPOD system which was what I set out to have as although I buy alot of CD's I don't like carrying them around. There is a grommet at the back of the glove box which allowed for the ipod cable to go through and the ipod sits away in the glovebox and out of site.

It sounds wonderful!!!! :bounce: :bounce: :bounce: :bounce: :bounce: :bounce:

the pioneer is a lovely piece of kit. For some reason all my stereos have been alpine as I assume they all work in the same way (odd logic I know). Good to hear the pioneer works with the iPhone too.
