Hello

Just curious about what other set ups people are running in their cars. Mine is 87 Turbo running a full Emerald Install. Anyone else running that?

I run Microsquirt, fuel only on this car but the last one was fuel and spark. Out of interest how does the emerald ecu deal with the crank timing?

Had a live remap from Wayne Scholfield on mine. The stock chip is live mappable. So old no protection. Well worth it even on a N/A. Total cost including injector clean was only £300 & the best money I ever spent on her. Only trouble was needed a turbo clutch & new drive shafts afterwards to cope with the power.

Very easily - I just had a bracket made up that is attached to the front of the block that holds a bog standard sensor - then I have a trigger wheel fitted to the main crank pulley. A very simple solution for crank timing! It was also a prime time to switch to a MAP sensor.

On the cards next year are moving from dizzy to coil packs and switching out the injectors to standard ones!

Hi :)

I am not sure I would switch to coil packs, as a lot of them have a high failure rate...try and get some recommendations for reliable ones at the least...

All the best Brett :)
