Hi, I have recently purchased a 1983 944 Lux. It has a small patch of bare metal on the roof, and I intend to fix it myself. However I need some advise as to what sort of primer to use. The reason I ask is that I have read that you need a special primer for galvanised car bodies, Zinc Chromate has been mentioned. I wondered if anyone on this forum knows if this is correct?
