What does the owners manual say for minimum octane in a 84 euro spec 944?

83 owners manual says 98 RON and the 944 workshop manual says 96 Ron.

It normally tells you on a sticker inside the fuel filler flap. My '83 is 98 RON

Cheers

All unleaded over here. Those very old classics that have to run on leaded petrol need to buy a lead additive (if I'm not mistaken).
