Hi, can anyone help me with this one. I have a cracked headlight on my 1989 2.7 944 with the motorised adjustment, I have purchased a secondhand replacement and started to try and fit it this morning, which I thought would be a simple job. After a lot of head scratching and searching the web I have come to the conclusion that I need a special tool No 9287 to remove the white plastic clips. Has anyone managed to replace the lens without this tool or do they have the spcifications of this tool so I could make one. I look forward to any advice you can give me.

Well, finally figured it out. Once I realised that the rear plastic cover needs removing to allow the leveling motor to be removed then the headlight frame just unscrews and the whole lot comes out from the front.
