Hi There,
Has anyone used their collapsible spare tyre, I got a couple of questions:
1: If you pump it up to check is it easy to repack.
2: After 22 years will it be any good.
3: Is there any treatment to put on the rubber to make it last longer.
4: If it’s not worth using what’s the best option, tyre weld or just have breakdown recovery protection?

I've pumped mine up just to make sure it would and when it deflates it goes right back to the shape it was in before.

No idea how good it will be after 28 years but I'd only ever use it for limping to a tyre fitters.

After 22 yers its not worth risking it

Also when I inflated one it was an absolute pig to collapse it
