Hi

Hope someone can help.

I have never had a problem before with the sunroof but put it back in S2 and went to lock it up but the 2 arms only went part way up. Then as i tried more times the roof hardly moved. The arms did not actually lock into the roof. When i tried again the arms went back into the rear of roof and made a sort of straining noise. When i carried this out for the last time never really lifted roof ar all. I did touch the micro switch flap before putting roof back in the first place dont know whether this affected anything????

Sounds like stripped gears to me. PM me your e-mail address and I'll send you a repair procedure I wrote for All Torque a few years ago.
