I went 2 use my sunroof, it won't work. I has before and often. It seemed like there was no power. Arms wouldn't lift or retract. Checked all the fuses 3 times. Changed the main relay in the fuse box, ( just 2 add 928 relay will still allow the retract with the ingntion in position 2. ) iv also tried another 944 relay. Iv tried changing the relays at the sunroof motor as well, but I only had one spear so iv swapped them over tried 2 eliminate if there's a fluaty one between the 3. 2 originals and my spear. Then sun roof went up and down once yesterday after not working. And today retracted only. Leaving the roof unlocked. Now the motor will wirl when the button in pressed in closets side towards gear stick only ( ignition position one. I didn't have a socket 2 manually turn the motor. So I removed the head lining and attempted 2 manually place the arms in the lock position. I did this and the switch retacts again. The cogs are fine and are as when I last replaced them. But now the cable has retacted pass the drivers side cog. If I manually turn the motor over, without the cogs in place it will feed the cable back though? Any ideas on way there's a problem? Possablie broken wire? I'd it possible 2 check the wires have current running though them by seeing if they can power a light bulb? E.g run one wire 2 negative on the battery and thouch each wire 2 the other side off the bulb one by one? |

Seems 2 be the switch, I swapped it 4 the mirror switch, but that stays permanently open, and caused one off the cogs 2 lose 3 theet. Swapped the switch back and it seems 2 be working, Also the limiter swicthes seemed 2 be out as closed was slightly open. Once the sunroof had gone though it's cycle. |
